Two years ago the world witnessed a seismic hand suddenly reach out and grab the land of Haiti, and for several seconds give it a great shaking. The result was an architectural tsunami of killing and maiming. For centuries the Haitian people have worked to shelter themselves from the yearly hurricanes that bring extraordinary winds, rain and floods.  Now it is evident that the very buildings they constructed for this purpose were no match against the 
titanic terrestrial forces locked deep within the earth that, in moments, demolished their world.

   
WHA, World Hands Alliance is introducing appropriate building material solutions and architectural design to create a permanent  solution for Haiti's housing crisis.  

   
Municipal utility support in Haiti is very  intermittent so each structure is designed to produce its own power, purified water and treat its waste on site.  A new world is under construction in Port au Prince and it is the Haitians who are trained and employed to do it. 


 WHA is forming international partnerships with like minded individuals, corporations and spiritual centers for the promotion of this new world.  A safe and secure future is our goal.  By lending a hand to some of the most impoverished, lifting them up and out of a world of despair we are all one step closer to that goal.
